Room to Wander comes from a simple travel philosophy: don’t overplan.

We’re the Russo family, and we’ve never been itinerary people. No hour-by-hour schedules, no boxes to check. Just enough structure to land somewhere interesting, and enough room to follow a stranger’s tip, take the long way, or stay an extra hour because the moment called for it.

This is where we document what happens when you leave space instead of filling it: the towns we found by accident, the people who pointed us somewhere better than any guide ever could, and the small, unscripted moments that end up mattering most.

If you want a perfectly optimized 10-day itinerary, this probably isn’t your blog. If you want real stories from a family that travels loose, curious, and open to detours — welcome. There’s room to wander here.
